Terms of Service

1. The service

Jobshiba is an AI-assisted job-search tool. It reads the LinkedIn job-alert emails you make available to it, scores each role against your CV and preferences, and drafts tailored application materials (such as a CV and cover letter) for the strong matches. Jobshiba helps you prepare and organise applications; it does not apply to jobs on your behalf, does not submit anything to employers, and does not send any message automatically. You review and send everything yourself.

Jobshiba is not a recruitment agency, an employer, or a career advisor, and does not guarantee interviews, job offers, or any particular outcome.

2. Eligibility & beta

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
• Jobshiba is currently offered as an invite-only beta. Access may be limited, features may change or be withdrawn, and the service may contain errors or be interrupted.
• We may grant or revoke beta access at our discretion.

3. Your account & Google sign-in

You create your account by signing in with Google. You are responsible for keeping access to your Google account secure and for all activity under your Jobshiba account. Notify us promptly at info@jobshiba.com of any unauthorised use.

4. Access to your job-alert emails

To find jobs for you, Jobshiba processes LinkedIn job-alert emails that you provide access to — either by connecting your Google account (read-only access, used solely to read LinkedIn job-alert emails) or by forwarding those alerts to the unique address we provide you. Jobshiba accesses only what is necessary to identify and process job alerts, and does not read, store, or use unrelated email for any other purpose. How Google user data is handled is described in our Privacy Policy, consistent with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. You can disconnect this access at any time.

5. Your CV & content

You upload your CV and other information (“Your Content”). You keep all rights in Your Content. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process Your Content solely to provide the service to you (for example, to parse your CV and generate tailored documents). You are responsible for ensuring Your Content is accurate and that you have the right to use it.

6. AI-generated documents

Jobshiba uses automated systems, including third-party AI models, to score jobs and draft documents. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You must review every generated document before using or sending it. You are solely responsible for what you submit to employers. Jobshiba is designed to work only from facts in Your Content and not to invent information, but we do not warrant that generated content is accurate or error-free.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Jobshiba for anything unlawful, deceptive, or fraudulent, or to misrepresent your qualifications;
• attempt to access other users’ data, or disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload the service;
• use the service to send spam or unsolicited messages, or in any way that violates the terms of LinkedIn, Google, or any other platform;
• resell or provide the service to third parties without our written permission.

8. Fees & billing

Jobshiba is free during the beta — no card is required. After the beta, Jobshiba is offered as a paid subscription of 19.90 € / month. We will tell you clearly before any charge ever applies, and you may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Prices are shown inclusive or exclusive of VAT as indicated at checkout. Statutory consumer withdrawal rights under EU/Hungarian law apply where relevant.

9. Data protection

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, in accordance with the GDPR and applicable Hungarian law. Please read it — it forms part of your use of Jobshiba.

10. Intellectual property

Jobshiba, its software, design, and content (excluding Your Content) are owned by Alongside Labs Kft. and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service under these Terms. Documents generated for you from Your Content are yours to use for your own job search.

11. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will produce any particular result, including any job interview or offer. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jobshiba is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost opportunities, jobs, or profits. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Mandatory consumer protections under Hungarian and EU law remain unaffected.

13. Term & termination

You may stop using Jobshiba and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service. You can request deletion of your account and data by emailing info@jobshiba.com; see the Privacy Policy for how we handle deletion.

14. Changes to the service or these Terms

We may update the service and these Terms. If we make material changes, we will give reasonable notice (for example, by email or in the app). Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence in the EU continue to apply. Disputes are subject to the competent Hungarian courts, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
